What we do

Six things we're really good at.

Every project is different, but it usually fits into one of these buckets. Not sure which one is you? That's fine — the first call is free, and we'll tell you straight.

We build the software you can't buy off the shelf. Custom software

The system your people are emailing spreadsheets around. The portal your customers keep complaining about. The internal tool that's been in "someday" for two years. We build it, properly, and ship it in a quarter or two.

Replaced Excel-based claims routing across 2,400 desks with a purpose-built platform — cut case time from 6 days to 14 minutes.

We replace the 15-year-old system without breaking it. Legacy modernization

You have a COBOL mainframe. A PHP monolith. A vendor platform the vendor stopped supporting. Replacing it feels like open-heart surgery. We've done it more than a dozen times without downtime — and we'll tell you honestly whether yours is worth it.

Re-platformed a $14B/yr claims engine with zero production downtime over 18 months. The team who maintained the original joined ours.

We move you to the cloud, or out of it, or fix what's there. Cloud & infrastructure

AWS, Azure, GCP, or a datacenter in New Jersey — the right answer is usually boring and very specific. We'll save you money on the parts that don't matter and spend it on the parts that do. No religion about it.

Cut a Fortune 100 retailer's annual cloud spend by 38% ($6.2M) while improving P99 latency by 4×. Re-architected in 11 weeks.

We turn your data into something that actually decides. Data & AI

Most "AI" projects are just data-cleanup projects with a ChatGPT wrapper on top. Ours aren't. We build models and pipelines that move real KPIs — and we'll tell you honestly when an AI is not what you need.

Built a demand-forecasting model for a national retailer that reduced stockouts by 23% and cut emergency reorders by $11M/yr.

We pass your auditor's audit. Security & compliance

SOC 2. HIPAA. PCI. ISO 27001. The certifications your enterprise customers ask for before they'll sign. We've led 15+ compliance programs, we know which auditors are reasonable, and we stay in the room with you until the letter is in your inbox.

Took a 400-person healthtech from zero to HIPAA + SOC 2 Type II in 9 months. Unlocked their first $50M enterprise contract.

We send senior engineers to sit with yours. Embedded teams

Sometimes you don't need a project — you need two principal engineers who've shipped at scale, embedded with your team for a quarter. We'll send them. They'll leave having raised the bar of everyone they worked with.

Placed three senior engineers inside a Fortune 50 insurer's platform team for 16 weeks. Their legacy modernization went from 18 months behind to 2 months ahead.
Why companies spend $1M+ with us

The boring reasons you actually care about.

You've been burned before. You've seen the statement-of-work go to 2x. You've inherited a platform no-one can read. Here's what's different.

01

We write the plan before we write the contract.

Before you sign anything, you get a 10-page strategic memo: what we'd build, what it'd cost, what it would not do, and what could go wrong. You keep that memo even if you hire someone else.

02

The people you meet are the people doing the work.

There's no "A-team for the pitch, B-team for delivery" switcheroo. Our principal engineers show up on day one and stay until launch. Most of our team has been here since the first year of the firm.

03

If we miss a date, we eat it.

Our contracts say it plainly: if we're late because of something within our control, you stop paying the day we miss. Fewer than 1 in 20 engagements has ever hit that clause.

04

Your lawyers will like our contract.

SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA BAA ready. Unlimited-liability IP assignment. Every person on your project is a full-time, US-based employee with a signed NDA on file before we take the first meeting.

Selected work

Real companies. Real numbers.

We can't always say whose software we ship, but we can tell you what it did. Full case studies, references and code walkthroughs available under NDA.

How we work

Four phases. No surprises.

The same playbook we've used on every engagement since day one. You always know where we are, what's next, and what could go wrong before it does.

01

Listen. Scope. Memo.

We spend two weeks with you, your team, and your systems. At the end you get a written memo: what we'd build, what it costs, where the risks are.

Week 1 – 3
02

Agree. Sign. Staff.

Fixed-price contract with milestone gates. You meet every person who'll touch your project. Nobody joins or leaves without your sign-off.

Week 3 – 4
03

Build. Demo. Ship.

Two-week sprints with a live demo at the end of each. Your team runs every release through your QA before anything touches production.

Week 4 – 16
04

Hand off. Support. Leave.

We train your team, transfer every password and credential, then stay on-call for 90 days. If you want us to keep going, we do. If not, we don't.

Week 16 – 20
What clients say

From the people who signed the check.

CTOs, COOs and VPs at public companies — anonymized where our contracts require it.

They replaced a platform our internal team had tried to kill three times, and did it without a single outage. Our CFO asked if we could clone them.

Before you book

Questions we get every week.

The short answers are here. The long ones we save for the call — because the right answer almost always depends on your situation.

What size projects do you take?

Most of our engagements are between $800K and $8M, running 12 to 30 weeks. If you're below that range, we'll happily recommend someone better suited. If you're above it, let's talk.

Do you outsource or offshore?

No. Every person on your project is a full-time, US-based RoloniumLabs employee. No subcontractors. No offshore development shops. Just us.

Who owns the code?

You do. All code is written directly into your source repositories under your accounts, with IP assignment from day one. When the engagement ends, your team keeps working without us — that's the entire point.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Every team member signs your NDA before the first conversation. We're SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, HIPAA BAA ready, and we have executed mutual NDAs on file with a large share of the Fortune 500.

What if we have to stop mid-project?

Every contract has a 30-day wind-down clause. You pay only for work completed and hours committed in the next 30 days. We hand you the code, docs, and credentials in a clean state — no ransom, no drama.

Can we talk to past clients?

Yes. On the second or third call, we'll introduce you to two or three past clients at companies similar to yours. They'll tell you the truth — we've never had a reference we were nervous about.

The next step

Let's get on a call.
No slides. No pitch.

45 minutes with a senior partner. We'll talk through what you're trying to do, whether we're a fit, and — if we're not — who we'd recommend instead.
